Scope of Service

All services provided by Island Heart Clinic are diagnostic in nature.  They are not a substitute for medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment by a doctor.  Results should be discussed with your GP or relevant specialist for clinical interpretation and ongoing management.

Emergency Disclaimer

This service is not suitable for urgent or emergency medical conditions.  If you experience chest pain, severe symptoms, or any medical emergency, please contact emergency services or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency department immediately.

Data Protection

Island Heart Clinic processes personal and health data in accordance with UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).  Information collected may include personal details (such as name, date of birth, and contact information) and clinical data required to provide diagnostic services.  All data is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering clinical services.  Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.  Island Heart Clinic is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection.

Pricing

All fees are clearly stated prior to testing.  Any additional services or extended monitoring will be discussed and agreed in advance.

All reasonable care is taken to ensure the accuracy of diagnostic reports.  Island Heart Clinic accepts no responsibility for clinical decisions made without appropriate medical consultation.
